Job interview went well today. Turns out they might be considering me for the start of January instead of next week. I’m okay with that. That way I’d be able to give my bosses reasonable notice of my leaving. Hopefully I’ll get this one if the other job doesn’t work out. I wouldn’t mind having either one. I need to move on up!

More job news.

Apparently I’m good enough that another job called me today and I got an interview scheduled for next Wednesday. Pumped! It doesn’t sound like it’ll pay as much as the other job with the phone interview at 2:30 today, but it’s not even 15 minutes away from my house. A short-ass commute would be nice for a change.

It’s nice to get some legitimate results from job hunting, instead of getting calls and e-mails from temp agencies who “saw my resume on Monster/CareerBuilder” and yet didn’t really read my resume. Hopefully a new job in the near future. That’d be a nice early Christmas present.
